OUR STORY

In today's fast-paced world, we often forget to pause, reconnect, and ground ourselves with the earth and its natural healing abilities. It's essential to remember that we are, at our core, spiritual beings navigating a human experience.

Herbs and their transformative powers, combined with a vision to revolutionize the beauty industry, became the solid foundation in which our company is built upon today.

With a focus on sustainability, innovation, and authenticity, we are dedicated to crafting products that nurture the mind, body, and soul. Our roots are grounded in the belief that growth is a journey nurtured through mindful connection and intentional daily practices.

Each product is a celebration of nature's bounty, formulated with both botanical and animal-based ingredients and an unwavering commitment to quality.

As we continue to expand, we remain true to

Our Mission - empowering individuals to flourish, thrive, and live madly rooted in their most authentic selves.

MEET GEENA

My name is Geena Wander and I am the founder and CEO of Madly Rooted Botanicals. With over a decade of experience in the beauty industry and a lifelong foundation in holistic living, I am able to bring a unique perspective to skincare and wellness. My passion to merge these two worlds, is what inspired me to create Madly Rooted Botanicals.

After graduating from the Master Artistry Program at Make Up Designory (MUD) in Burbank, California, I began my career as a beauty and special fx makeup artist. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to work independently, collaborating on projects ranging from celebrity clients, music videos and commercials, to festivals, and even private events.

In 2022, I expanded my career path, by earning certifications in both tattooing permanent makeup and applying lash extensions.Shortly after taking these two courses, I started my my first business, Geebaby Artistry Inc. This lead me to opening my own suite at a salon, where I could build a clientele locally. But, as times grew challenging in the economy, clients became more scarce, and people were unable to keep up with prices. Services that felt like women would ALWAYS spend money on, shockingly, dissipated. Suddenly, I knew, it was time for a change. I made a very bold decision and moved to an unfamiliar city, embarking on an entirely new path.

The first few months of this transition remained challenging and shook me to my absolute core, making me re-question my entire existence and everything I've ever known. Closing the doors to my salon, transitioning to an unfamiliar city, and OF COURSE (you know how the saying goes..."when it rains, it pours"), II had emergency surgery. Post surgery, it was imperative for my health to maintain a new and unfamiliar (which at the time felt like a "vanilla") lifestyle.

However, unbeknownst to me, this more simple way of life got me thinking how I ended up here. that modern healthcare often treats symptoms, not the source. This seems so simple, yet so many of us don't even think twice about how toxic everything within our reach truly is. It became more and more clear that wellness is about prevention, not just about managing and treating our sickness after the fact.

As I continued to research further down the rabbit hole, I quickly learned why everyone in America is so sick. Chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes account for nearly 60% of all deaths. Over 50 million Americans live with autoimmune diseases, and nearly 6 in 10 adults have at least one chronic condition, with 4 in 10 managing two or more. Stress, poor diets, sedentary lifestyles, and literal POISON are in almost every product we as consumers purchase.

Between ridding my kitchen of forever-chemicals, to investing in EMF protecting devices and water filters, this truly made me question what other common house-hold products could be extremely toxic to our overall well-being. Unbeknownst to me, I noticed that makeup, skincare, and toiletry items also fell under this category as well.

Being a beauty guru for so long, this definitely raised several questions for me. I spent a considerable amount of time reflecting on how I could seamlessly integrate my two passions and also, create something that would better humanity. This became the true inspiration and vision that sparked the idea behind Madly Rooted Botanicals.
